Last week PInow CEO Adam Camras had the opportunity to sit down with Vicki Voisin of Legal Talk Network's The Paralegal Voice for an interview about process servers and paralegals. PInow wanted to share this information since many professionals involved in private investigations are also process servers. The podcast provides paralegals with tips and advice for hiring process servers, and touched on a variety of topics including bulk serves, electronic service, and questions to ask before hiring.
The podcast touches on:
- Locating a trusted professional
- Questions to ask before hiring
- Bulk serves
- Fee structure
- Process serving software
- Electronic service
- Red Flags paralegals should look for

Paralegals often handle service for law firms, so they represent a large business opportunity for private investigators who also work as process servers. If you market any of your services to paralegals or attorneys, listen to the podcast for more insight on what they look for when hiring. It's a good idea to make sure you have prepared answers to common questions a paralegal might ask, have proper software to provide updates, and understand what they will look for in the future.
