Company wants Updates to Private Security Industry

CANADA -- Dave Daneliuk of Provincial Security Investigation Services Ltd. wants the province of New Brunswick to change the Private Investigators and Security Services Act to allow security guards more options for self-defense. Daneliuk has spoken before the Private Investigators Security Licensing Commission about the subject. Currently, private security guards in the province are not permitted to have protective vests, handcuffs, extendable batons, and other tools and weapons of self-defense that Daneliuk believes are important.
