Private Investigators Examining 2006 Murder Case
PINYON FLATS, CA — Private investigators are still looking for answers in the 2006 homicide that claimed the lives of Becky Friedli, Vicki Friedli, and Jon Hayward. This week Palm Springs, California private investigators from the Bolaños Investigations Team released a re-enacted video of the events they think occurred just before the triple slaying. No one has yet been arrested in the case. The three people who were killed were slain and their home set on fire. Private investigators have been working on the case for a year, after being hired by the families of the deceased.

Private Investigators Think Max Shacknai Was Murdered
CORONADO, CA – When 6-year-old Max Shacknai died at his father’s mansion, his death was ruled an accident. Now, information from California private investigators has Coronado Police Department reviewing the case. Investigators in an independent report have determined that the death may have been homicide.

Private Investigators Determine Guitar Company Used Illegal Wood
NASHVILLE, TN – Gibson Guitar has been denying fault for years but will pay $350,000 in penalties for using illegally imported, endangered ebony wood. The guitar maker admitted that it illegally bought wood from Madagascar, even though importing the wood is against federal law. The Environmental Investigation Agency launched its own investigation into Gibson Guitar after the guitar maker denied wrongdoing and then handed over the information gathered during the investigation to authorities.

Details from Private Investigation of Jail To be Reviewed
BARREN COUNTY, KY – Details of a private investigation of Barren County Jail will have to be released, according to a recent status conference looking into the case Barren County Fiscal Court –vs- Glasgow Daily Times. The Fiscal Court hired Kentucky private investigators for an investigation of the jail, but according to the judge on the case, the FBI was involved in an investigation of the same jail long before private investigators were hired. Private investigator Mike Ober will have to testify in court this week about his investigation of the jail.

Costs of a Private Investigation into a House Speaker
WASHINGTON, DC – House Speaker Christopher Donovan's campaign has been rocked by scandal after several of his associates were arrested in a scam involving cash in exchange for killing state legislation. Reportedly, the campaign spent $120,422 for a private investigation to prove that Donovan was not part of the scheme.

Private Investigators Work Together to Resolve Murder Case
LOS ANGELES, CA – A group of California private investigators are working together, offering a $100,000 reward to anyone who can provide information which can help solve a six-year-old murder case that has gone cold. The private investigators were hired by the families of the victims -- Rebecca Friedli, Vicki Friedli, and Jon Hayward – after official investigations found no answers. The private investigators have raised plenty of publicity for the case and are hopeful for new answers and leads.
