Investigators Believe Infidelity is on the Rise in Cork
IRELAND – According to some local investigators, infidelity may be more of an issue in recent years in Cork and surrounding areas. Investigators feel that the ease of access online and economic pressures are creating an environment where more spouses cheat. Some investigators are reporting a 10-12% increase in calls over the past three years. One business, the Ireland Affairs agency, reported getting between twelve and thirteen calls a week from people who think their partner is unfaithful. According to the company, in about 90% of infidelity investigations, these suspicions are shown to be well founded.
Convention for Wisconsin Investigators
STEVENS POINT, WI – The Wisconsin Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators recently took place in Stevens Point. In attendance were private investigators, law enforcement officials, firefighters, and fire investigators. The event is a training opportunity that takes a look at some of the scientific advances and investigation methods related to fire investigation.

Family Hires Private Investigator to Examine Fatality
CHILLICOTHE, OH – The family of 89-year-old Harry Smith are so frustrated with the official investigation into the senior’s death that they have hired Ohio private investigators to determine the cause of death. The family has hired Michael McCann of Lycurgus Group to help in determining how Smith died. After being rescued from his burning home Smith died and his family believe that he was assaulted and robbed before his home was set on fire.

Oakland Sets Investigation Budget for Occupy Allegations
OAKLAND, CA – The city of Oakland is dealing with so many internal investigations related to the Occupy movement that they will need to outsource the cases to local California private investigators and law firms in order to meet deadlines set by a court order. The city has budgeted $750,000 for the investigations. In addition, two police officers will be transferred to work on the investigations full-time to ensure that the backlog of cases is dealt with.
