Christmas Parties Make More Work for PIs Investigating Infidelity |
WELLINGTON, NEW ZEALAND - Some New Zealand PIs are warning that infidelity is very common at work-related Christmas parties, where a combination of alcohol and work tensions can create an atmosphere for cheating. A recent survey at one workplace found that 49 percent of 1168 workers polled claimed they would like to have sex at a work Christmas party, if they had the opportunity to do so.

Two PIs At Lunch Uncover Abuse |
MECHANICVILLE, NY - Two PIs were eating lunch near the O.D. Heck Developmental Center when one of them witnessed alleged abuse of a client by staff of the center and reported the incident. The PIs were enjoying a lunch break while on an unrelated case. The PIs reported the incident to their boss and to authorities, sparking a state investigation into abuse at the O.D. Heck Developmental Center. |

Red Light Cameras in Texas Allegedly Unconstitutional |
AMARILLO, TX - Lloyd Ward, a Dallas attorney, is alleging that red light cameras are unconstitutional. So far, a district judge agrees with the attorney. While the decision may offer some hope to drivers caught by the cameras and wishing to dispute the tickets, the decision is unlikely to remove Amarillo's cameras any time soon. Ward filed a lawsuit against American Traffic Solutions, the company operating Amarillo's red lights and cameras. The lawsuit alleges that the city's contract with the company gives American Traffic Solutions - a company without a PI license - the right to prosecute violators, but a Texas statute indicates that individuals need to have a PI license for that right. |

PIs Uncover Fake Degree at Broadcom |
SAN FRANCISCO, CA - Investigators have found that Broadcom Corp. Senior Vice President Vahid Manian did not earn his bachelor's and master of business administration degrees from the University of California, as he claimed. The school acknowledged that Manian attended the school, but did not graduate. The false degree was discovered by Barry Minkow of the Fraud Discovery Institute, a company that checks backgrounds of executives. |

New Investigation Into the Anthony Case |
ORLANDO, FL - Cindy Anthony, the grandmother of the missing Anthony toddler, has sparked a new investigation after claiming that someone hacked into her email account and used that account to distribute emails related to the case. The FBI is now investigating the situation. The email account was used by Anthony to contact PIs, their spokesman, and other authorities in the case. Dominic Casey, the Anthonys' PI is also looking into the matter. |
