Animal Control Investigation to be Launched |
NASHVILLE, TN - The county sheriff’s department has been asked by Sumner County District Attorney Ray Whitley to investigate claims that veterinarian William Baber was illegally euthanizing animals at the county's animal control facility. The allegations stem from a private investigation paid for by nonprofits. The investigations uncovered that Baber was performing intercardiac euthanasia without sedating or anesthetizing the animals, as required by law. PIs also allege that Baber took animals he was supposed to euthanize and sold them. |

Redflex Speed Van Hearing |
LAFAYETTE, LA - The speed vans that caused a controversy with the Louisiana State Board of Private Investigator Examiners sparked a hearing. Currently, Arizona-based Redflex Traffic Systems has a contract with the Lafayette Consolidated Government to operate the vans to catch traffic violations. The hearing is a result of a complaint filed by PI Stephanie Ware. Ware alleges that the speed vans are basically conducting investigative activities, including surveillance, without a license. She further alleges that the company should not be able to issue citations, since only police have that power. |

CSX Seeking Missing Physician |
WHEELING, WV - CSX Transportation is trying to serve papers on Bridgeport radiologist Dr. Ray Harron, but the physician cannot be located. CSX is alleging that both Harron and the firm filed false claims against CSX. Authorities think that the doctor may have fled the country. PIs hired by CSX to find the doctor are located in West Virginia and Texas and have used surveillance, witness interviews and background checks to find Harron, but have not found any leads. |

Two PIs May Have Been Wiretapping |
ISRAEL - PIs Rafi Pridan and Aviv Mor, have been arrested for illegal wiretapping. The duo allegedly were trying to gather information about businessman Michael Chernoy and Strategic Affairs Minister Avigdor Lieberman. Right-wing extremist Avigdor Eskin also has been arrested for alleged involvement in the case. Authorities believe that a business rival of Chernoy hired the PIs to do the surveillance work. All wiretaps found were in Israel. |

PI 'Admits' Hillary Paid Him to Harass Willey |
MEDFORD, OR - A new book is alleging that Jack Palladino was hired by Hillary Clinton to investigate Kathleen Willey. In the book, Palladino alleges that he harassed and intimidated Willey in order to get her to stay quiet about her allegations of sexual assault by President Clinton. The book is titled, Target: Caught in the Crosshairs of Bill and Hillary Clinton. Palladino denies the allegations made in the book. |
