Study Shows Changing Face of Adultery |
SEATTLE, WA - A recent study from the University of Washington revealed that infidelity is increasing and that more women appear to be cheating on their partners. While many think of a man when they think of unfaithful spouses, researchers found that younger women cheat on their partners as often as men. Between 1991 and 2006, the lifetime rate of infidelity for men older than age 60 rose from 20 percent to 28 percent. For women older than 60 years old, the lifetime rate of infidelity increased from 5 percent to 15 percent in the same period. For those under 35 years of age, 20 percent of men and 15 percent of women admitted to being unfaithful. |

Attorney Denies PI Claims |
PHILADELPHIA, PA - The case involving Democratic Sen. Vincent Fumo has been heating up. An attorney for Fumo claims that a PI's claims that he performed private investigations for Fumo while hired by the state Senate are untrue. Fumo is accused of destroying evidence and of trying to defraud the Senate of more than $3.5 million. PI Frank Wallace alleges that he was asked to investigate Fumo's ex-girlfriend, Fumo's political opponents and two topless dancers while he was paid by the Senate. Fumo's defense attorney claims that Wallace did not charge the Senate for these investigations, and did that work free of charge. |

PI Turns Author |
FRAMINGHAM, MA - Nancy Castle worked as a PI before becoming a documentation manager at Genzyme Corp. Both jobs have involved an attention to detail, a skill she is now translating into a writing career. Castle is now writing her second mystery book, using her experiences as a PI to create realistic crimes and crime solutions. |

PI in Wales Wins Investigator of the Year Honor |
NORTH WALES, WALES - PI John Hughes of the Intec Enquiry Agency in Wales has been named Investigator of the Year by the World Association of Private Investigators. Hughes has worked in the industry for a quarter of a century after first starting work in the power industry. The award is given to someone who casts the PI industry in a positive light or who achieves success in notable investigations. |

Fleischmann’s Disappearance Sparks Foundation |
ELON, NC - Elon graduate Kyle Fleischmann disappeared about a year ago and initial efforts to find him grew into the Kyle Fleischmann Foundation. The foundation is now helping those who have had a loved one go missing. The foundation offers advice on dealing with the police, media and PIs in a missing persons case. Eventually, the foundation hopes to grow to the point where it can offer financial assistance for PIs and other resources that can help families find loved ones. PIs continue to search for clues in Fleischmann's disappearance. |
