PIs Uncover that Democrats and Republicans Equally Likely to Cheat |
ATLANTA, GA - PI firm Eagle Investigative Services recently conducted a survey to determine whether Democrats or Republicans were more likely to cheat on their spouses. The firm only used those cases where a party member was caught on tape, then used a database to cross-reference self-identification of party preference. The final research included 420 people who were caught cheating on their spouses between January 2008 and October 2008. The results showed that both Democrats and Republicans are equally likely to be unfaithful. Of the 420 cases, 211 of the cheaters were Republicans while 209 were Democrats. |

O.J. Attorneys Speak to PIs |
WORCESTER, MA - Two members of the defense team that famously helped O.J. Simpson during his 1994 trial spoke at a PI conference recently. Attorney F. Lee Bailey and forensic scientist Henry C. Lee spoke at the the New England Council of State Investigator Associations conference at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. During their talks, Bailey criticized law enforcement and the death penalty. He suggested that the legal process be completely restructured for death penalty cases so that the government would offer defendants access to quality private defense lawyers and PIs. |

PI's Car Rammed |
NAPLES, FL - Sam Tarad Sky, the chief operating officer for Credit Restoration Brokers, a debt consolidation company, is accused of ramming his car into a PI's car. The PI was allegedly following Sky's fiancé. Sky was booked and ultimately released from Lee County Jail on pre-trial diversion. The PI, Richard H. Lamm Jr., works for Identifax Investigative Services and told authorities that he had been following Sky's fiancé for two days before the accident, as part of a case. Lamm injured his leg in the crash. |

PIs In Demand for Companies |
WELLINGTON, NEW ZEALAND - Ever since the HP case in 2007 revealed the lengths that companies will go to in order to gather business intelligence, businesses have been worried about illegal intelligence gathering. In New Zealand, more companies are turning to PIs. According to new data, at least one out of every 20 businesses in the country have had intellectual property compromised. Experts suggest that increased sophistication when it comes to hacking, theft and pretexting have made gathering information easier. |

Cunningham Death Draws PIs |
MARION, IL - Public defender Alex Fine has been allowed by Williamson County Circuit Judge John Speroni to hire a PI in the Cunningham case. Savoy Cunningham was beaten to death and two men, Ryan Small and Ricky Cooper, are accused of the crime. Both men will appear before a court again in November. |
