Michael Jackson’s Family to Hire PIs

LONDON, ENGLAND – The parents of musician Michael Jackson are expected to hire a PI to get answers about the singer’s death. The PI will likely be hired to specifically investigate the contract the singer had with AEG, the organizers for his planned concert series. Some experts predict that the move may signal the start of a wrongful death lawsuit. PIs will also likely investigate Dr. Conrad Murray, already under investigation for giving Jackson the anesthetic Propofol.

PI Catches Accused Fraudster Erich Heckler

LEE COUNTY, FL – Felon Erich Heckler, wanted on charges related to a mortgage fraud scheme, was caught after fleeing the country for Costa Rica. He was caught by PI John Moritz, who inadvertently received information about the felon while in Costa Rica on another case. Heckler was already trying to get investors in Costa Rica to invest in a new scheme. Currently, Heckler is waiting to be extradited to Florida.

Two Women Set Up PI Agency

STISTED, ENGLAND - PIs Jo Clarke and Jo Nixon have set up a small office to track down missing persons and cheating spouses and to crack other cases. The pair set up the company, D-Tec UK, two years ago. Both were going through divorces at the time and decided that a change was in order. At the same time, both felt that female PIs were needed because they could offer more sympathy and empathy to clients. The duo are soon to open an office of their PI company in Spain.

PIs Hired for Worker’s Compensation Cases

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD – After Montgomery County saw a 50% increase in worker’s compensation claims over the past three years – up to $16.5 million last year – PIs have been called in to investigate workers who may be defrauding the system. The county has said that it hires PIs infrequently, but in the past when PIs have been hired, fraud has been uncovered, helping the county save money in unneeded payouts.

Amy Winehouse Hires PIs

LONDON, ENGLAND – Reports indicate that singer Amy Winehouse has hired PIs to investigate her ex-husband, Blake Fielder-Civil. The couple were already granted a divorce, but are still in court trying to reach a settlement. Blake is allegedly seeking £6million of Winehouse’s money. While Winehouse is paying Blake’s legal costs, she reportedly does not want to grant him her money and is hiring PIs to gather evidence of Blake’s unsavory behavior during their marriage.

Family Hire PIs to Track Missing Woman

CHARLESTON, SC - Katherine Waring, the 28 year-old daughter of a local attorney, has been missing for nearly two months. The family has hired PIs and have organized friends to help look for her. PI Dick Vance has noted that the PIs on the case are following up on every lead. The family have been able to gather $25,000 for a reward, which they hope will lead to new information about Waring’s disappearance.
