Firefighters' Hearings Shrouded in Secrecy |
HAVERHILL, MA - Hearings for the four firefighters accused of abusing their sick leave has been postponed until August 17 and now closed off to reporters and members of the public. A private investigator was hired last year by authorization from Mayor James Fiorentini to survey firefighters facing allegations of abusing sick time. As the hearings were about to begin, lawyers for the firefighters and city left the hearing room for private talks, which resulted in the August 17 postponement nearly two hours later.

Expert: Andrews Nude Video an Inside Job |
CBS - The illicit taping of ESPN sports reporter, Erin Andrews, is speculated to be an inside job by Private Investigator and CBS News Consultant Patrick Malkmes. Malkmes said, "I would say it would probably have to be somebody who's close to her, just to get in the area of her." Due to clues left behind by the perpetrator, investigators say the mystery behind the Peeping Tom who filmed the video will soon be solved. Andrews vowed that criminal charges will be filed. |

Bozeman City Leaders to Hire Investigator |
BOZEMAN, MT - Investigator Michelle Puiggari was hired to review how city hiring methods are conducted concerning background checks with regards to criminal history, credit card reports and psychological tests. City leaders have made a plea to all Bozeman city workers to discuss any improper hiring practices that they may have undergone. City job applicants were requested to provide their usernames and passwords to social websites such as Facebook and Myspace before being hired. |

Patience Pays Off for Private Investigator |
GREENBAY, WI - Having spent 46 years working in the criminal justice system, patience has proven to be a virtue for veteran Leon Piescheck. After retiring as sheriff and starting Pieschek Protective Services in 1993, Pieschek notes investigations are nothing like they appear on television shows. LONDON, ENGLAND - Allegations are still swarming over several newspapers that engaged private investigators to obtain private information. As the British Broadcasting Corporation filled the airways, The Guardian filled many pages with allegations that the News Of The World paid more than $1 million to individuals after hacking into their mobile phones. However, news has emerged now that even The Guardian, who placed itself above the scandal, has used what it describes as a "business intelligence company" - also known as a private investigator - to obtain private information. |
