PIs Determining Factor in Brinkley Divorce Victory?

CENTRAL ISLIP, NY - Christie Brinkley claimed victory in her high-profile divorce case. The former supermodel declared the settlement a win because she got everything she wanted. Brinkley gets all properties and sole custody of the couple's children. Some media outlets are reporting that the determining factor may have been twin PIs Ty and Steve Dux who tipped the scales in Brinkley's favor. The duo dug up dirt on former husband Peter Cook and some insiders are speculating that their findings caused Cook's lawyers to recommend settlement rather than having the results of the investigation revealed.

ACLU Protest Wiretapping Legislation

NEW YORK, NY - The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) has been protesting the Federal Intelligence Surveillance Act recently passed by Congress. The ACLU has filed lawsuits against the government over the new wiretapping law. The ACLU alleges that the new law is unconstitutional because it allows authorities to monitor residents with very few limitations. The new law, the ACLU argues, does not require warrants based on reasonable cause, which means that any calls and emails technically are fair game for surveillance. The ACLU sees this as a violation of the right to free speech and abuse of government power.
