Some media outlets are reporting that the determining factor may have been twin PIs Ty and Steve Dux who tipped the scales in Brinkley's favor. ACLU Protest Wiretapping Legislation |
NEW YORK, NY - The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) has been protesting the Federal Intelligence Surveillance Act recently passed by Congress. The new law, the ACLU argues, does not require warrants based on reasonable cause, which means that any calls and emails technically are fair game for surveillance. The ACLU sees this as a violation of the right to free speech and abuse of government power. |
