A Florida PI Firm Gone to the Dogs |
BOCA RATON, FL - Julie Ferguson’s pet dog Olivia ran away from the vet and could not be found. While Ferguson did everything she could to find Olivia, her inability to find her dog led her to take a dramatic step. Ferguson contacted S.N.I.F (Special Narcotic Investigative Force), a PI firm that uses drug-sniffing dogs on cases. PI Andy Novotak had never used his dogs to track another canine, but he was eager to try. 'Ali' the German Shepherd was quickly able to find Olivia in a golf course. Ferguson is eager to let other pet owners know about services offered by PIs. She told the media that hiring a PI company was worth every cent. |

They are alleging that the law - which is actually an expansion of Texas' Occupations Code definition - limits technicians' ability to work. Currently, anyone who violates the law faces penalties of up to $14,000 and a year in jail. |
