BP Too Involved in Oil Spill Investigations |
TACOMA, WA – Now that BP is under the microscope following the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, a number of reports have emerged, accusing BP of involvement in investigations. Specifically, there are allegations and records suggesting that BP allowed its contractors in Alaska to take part in an investigation of the contractors when they were accused of falsifying tests. |

Grand Jury Questions Shasta County Agencies |
SHASTA, CA – A grand jury in Shasta County has concluded that the Anderson Fire Protection District board of directors should not have allowed chief Joe Piccinini to resign. Piccinini was accused of misconduct but the board agreed to his suggestions to seal investigation records and hired an unlicensed PI to investigate the allegations, choices that the grand jury slammed in its findings. |

Stumar Investigations’ Stuart Drobny Named “Private Investigator of the Year” |
PHILADELPHIA, PA - Stuart Drobny, the founder and president of Stumar Investigations, has been named the “2010 William O’Neill Investigator of the Year” by the New Jersey Licensed Private Investigators Association (NJLPIA). The new accolade comes just weeks after Drobny was honored by the Federal Bureau of Investigation for his work helping to identify and stop the purchase and sale of counterfeit consumer goods in order to finance Hezbollah. |

Why Moms Are Right When it Comes to PIs |
DANVILLE, CA – Female PIs, like the ones at Chris Butler & Associates, believe that the use of cooperation, intuition and persuasion more often than their male counterparts – something that they note helps them crack more cases. The PIs note that male PIs approach PI work as a type of authority law enforcement position, while mom PIs – increasingly in the news lately – are more focused on solving issues creatively. |
