Northern Colorado PIs Join Forces with Waste Management Professionals

FORT COLLINS, CO – A new program has been launched in Northern Colorado that would have PIs training Waste Management employees. The PIs would teach the employees how to notice suspect activity while driving through communities in order to collect waste. PIs and local law enforcement have already been teaching the waste management professionals how to note red flags that would indicate methamphetamine production and other crimes.

PIs to Track Parents in Australia?

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – Australia’s Child Support Agency (CSA) will hire PIs to investigate parents who fail to pay child support payments. In the current year, child support non-payment amounts to about $1 billion and the Australian government notes that the PIs would help the CSA collect that debt. The new motion will allow the CSA to hire PIs after July 1 for surveillance for those cases where parents have provided incomplete or untruthful information.

PIs at Nassau Community College

GARDEN CITY, NY – A teachers’ union has hired PIs to investigate potential immigration problems at Nassau Community College. However, two members of the board of trustees at the school have complained that the PIs arrived at their homes unannounced to ask about the issues, a move that the trustees felt was incorrect. One of the PIs, Jim Murphy, said that the visits were legal and that the two trustees did not complain about the visits to the PIs. Murphy has been hired to decide whether the school circumvented immigration laws by moving students into a non-degree program.

PIs Look Into Explosion Case

CHARLOTTE, NC – A team of PIs, from Accident Reconstruction Analysis, Inc., have been investigating a Charlotte area home that was leveled by what was thought to be a natural gas explosion. When approached by the media, the PIs declined to explain why the home debris is being examined. Accident Reconstruction Analysis, Inc., based in Raleigh, is often hired by appliance manufacturers, legal professionals and other clients to reconstruct accidents.
