PI Donates Time for Children

SNELLVILLE, GA – PI Tina Elkins owns TAMA Investigations, Inc. and has been an investigator for 14 years. Recently, Elkins donated more than 150 hours with her team to look for missing teen Crystal Sexton, who was luckily found unharmed. Elkins is alerted via e-mail when kids nationwide go missing and is sometimes able to help with some pro bono work. She sees her volunteering as a way of giving back to the community. Fossella Hires PIs

STATEN ISLAND, NY - Congressman Vito Fossella hired two PIs, James Harkins and John McNally, in the aftermath of a DWI arrest. The two PIs have worked on a number of high-profile cases, including the John Gotti and O.J. Simpson criminal cases. Harkins and McNally are former NYPD officers who are now reportedly interviewing employees of the bar where the congressman was last seen before being arrested. The two PIs were allegedly hired because Fossella’s breathalyzer readings were unusual. The congressman’s attorney is claiming that the tests may not have been accurate.

Nova Scotia PI - 20 Years in the Business

DARTMOUTH, NOVA SCOTIA, CANADA – The Chronicle Herald newspaper recently ran a story about Mark Joseph and Roger Miller, who are the president and vice-president of Northeastern Investigators in Dartmouth. Miller has been working as a PI for more than 20 years and asserts that tenacity and common sense are the two most important characteristics for a PI.

PI Asks for New Trial

LOS ANGELES, CA – Infamous Hollywood PI Anthony Pellicano filed a motion for a new trial via his attorneys. The PI’s lawyers claim that juror misconduct in the wiretapping trial have occurred on several occasions. One juror allegedly had information about a witness in the case because her husband had read a website about the witness. At least four of jurors allegedly discussed the case without other jurors present. Pellicano‘s attorney also claims that one juror was heard making comments that clearly indicate a bias. Pellicano was convicted of 76 out of 77 wiretapping charges last month.

UK Computer Store Caught Selling Pirated Items

YORKSHIRE, ENGLAND – Undercover PIs hired by Microsoft allegedly uncovered that a Yorkshire computer store, BS Com, was selling software illegally. The shop is accused of selling PCs with pre-installed unlicensed Microsoft programs. Zafar Malik of BS Com admitted to piracy and has said that his store is working with Microsoft to ensure that similar problems do not occur again.
