Unusual Shooting Incident Involving PI Leaves Questions

UTICA, NY - Most PIs know that being shot at can be a risk. Few PIs, however, worry about being shot because they are mistaken for a turkey. Yet, that is allegedly what happened to PI Matthew Brady. Brady was doing surveillance work and observing William Wehnke in relation to a workers' compensation claim when Wehnke shot him. There are questions about why Brady was on Wehnke's rented property. The next day, when Steel's wife divorced him, the DUI charges appeared in her filing, even though her attorney would be unlikely to have that information. Now, the actions of McCollough and the PIs are under scrutiny because Steel has filed a civil suit alleging false arrest and other claims.
