Colorado Anti-Surveillance Bill Defeated
DENVER, CO - Colorado HB 1012 was defeated when the Senate Judiciary Committee voted against it 4 to 3 on Wednesday, May 5, 2010. This bill would have drastically impacted the ability of employers and insurance companies to conduct surveillance on suspected fraudulent or exaggerated worker's compensation claims.

Divorce Fair In Italy
MILAN, ITALY – This past weekend, Milan held its first divorce fair, titled Turning a New Leaf. Vendors at the fair included PIs, attorneys and other professionals who helped couples considering divorce or working their way through a divorce currently. In 2007, 130,000 couples in Italy sought a divorce.

NY Mayor Looks Overseas for Surveillance Help
NEW YORK, NY – This week, Mayor Bloomberg will visit London. On the agenda: a look at the city’s surveillance system. Following the recent bomb scare in Times Square, there may be renewed interest in surveillance cameras and security cameras in the city. There are currently about 3,000 cameras in the process of being installed in Manhattan, with more cameras planned.
