Family of Deceased Student Hires PI |
ELMIRA, NY - In December of last year, Alfred University student Thomas Argentieri died after a fight in Alfred. The student’s family is now seeking the help of PIs to get answers about his death. Alfred police confirm that at least two PIs have called them or made contact with them about the Argentieri case. The autopsy in the case continues to be under review and has not yet been made public. |

Did PI Make Death Threats? |
MUNCIE, IN - Authorities were called to attorney Jill Gonzalez's office after PI Jeff Hinds allegedly made death threats in her office. Hinds and another man allegedly chased a man down the street. John Caldwell claims that he was walking out of the law office when Hinds and Jeremy Carver ran after him. During the chase, Hinds, who was armed with a handgun, allegedly shouted that he was going to kill Caldwell. This is not the first brush with the law for Hinds. Earlier this year, he was charged with bribery after three men were allegedly paid to change their testimony in a criminal case. That case is still pending. |

Uncovering Fraudulent Workers' Compensation Claims |
WESTBOROUGH, MA - PI franchise L&W Investigations claims that roughly 80 percent of all workers’ compensation claims filed are legitimate. The remaining 20 percent, however, can drain the coffers of insurance providers and employees. L&W Investigations says that there are several ways to pinpoint a suspect claim. Red flags include multiple claims, longer-than-expected absences from work, pre-existing financial problems and conveniently timed injuries. Other red flags include no witness reports, frequent doctor changes and unusual types of injuries. |

PI Not Welcome on Highway of Tears Case in Canada, According to RCMP |
CANADA - PI Ray Michalko has volunteered to work on the Highway of Tears murder case in Canada. Michalko is investigating the stretch of highway in Western Canada were eighteen women have been killed or have gone missing over the past three decades. The murders and disappearances have never been solved. Michalko has been working on the case for about two years and recently received a letter from Royal Canadian Mounted Police Staff-Sargent Bruce Hulan warning him he may face charges for obstructing justice. Michalko has sought the advice of an attorney in deciding his next move. |
