Online Surveillance at an All-Time High
WASHINGTON, D.C. – A coalition of 11 consumer groups and privacy watchdogs, including Consumers Union, Consumer Action and the Electronic Frontier Foundation, have written to Congress, alleging that online surveillance to target and monitor online consumers is “alarming” and on the rise.

PIs Take Over Fire Investigation
MINNEAPOLIS, MN – PIs are slated to take over the investigation of the April Lake Street fire. While authorities ruled that the fire was accidental, no cause was found for the blaze which claimed six lives. Attorneys involved in the case have hired PIs to determine the cause of the fire.

Parents Try to Be PIs with GPS
BOISE, ID – Neal Custer and other PIs are noticing a trend: parents using GPS technology to keep tabs on their children. Custer supports the trend, noting that it helps parents monitor children. PIs Uncover Unique Insurance Fraud Case
QUAKERTOWN, PA – PIs are often hired to investigate possible insurance fraud, but PIs hired by Highmark Insurance recently uncovered a very unique case of alleged insurance fraud. According to PIs, waitress Christina Gamble made an insurance claim, alleging that she could no longer work after supposedly sustaining a back injury on the job
