PI Launches Global Services |
REDDING, CA - Robert Mather began his business as a PI with his own firm. Recently, he expanded and is now president and CEO of Pre-employ.com, which does business globally, running about 10,000 background checks daily. Mather says that thanks to employer demands and a great team, his business is expanding, even amidst a recession. Mather said he's in the business to protect employers and employees.

PI E.L. Black Profiled |
ERWIN, TN - A recent profile of E.L. Black, who works mostly in Unicoi County, Washington County and Knoxville, is very interesting. Black has never been in a life-threatening situation, and finds the Hollywood stereotypes of PIs laughable. She mainly on works custody, arson, divorce, insurance fraud and abuse cases. Her dedication to continued education allows her to learn more about new laws and procedures. She hopes to start her master's degree soon. |

Wausau Hires PI |
WAUSAU, WI - The city of Wausau has hired a PI to look into Wausau Community Development Authority problems and into the Wausau’s Community Development Department. Although the city has refused to say who the PI on the case is – or even what issues in the two agencies are being investigated – the PI on the case has no ties to the Wausau city government. The case, however, may stem from the problems surrounding Mike Morrissey, who was the director of both the Wausau Community Development Authority and the Wausau Community Development Department. He was placed on paid leave following a discrimination complaint by a former employee. |

Jim Fox Accuses Rival of Using PI |
ROSEBURG, OR - Jim Fox accused Republican rival Tim Freeman of hiring a private investigator to dig into his past. Fox claimed that Freeman was rooting around in his past and was also checking on Fox’s wife and sons in order to find some dirt to use in the political campaign. Freeman denied the charge, saying he has not hired or paid for a PI. |
