Wausau Hires PI

WAUSAU, WI - The city of Wausau has hired a PI to look into Wausau Community Development Authority problems and into the Wausau’s Community Development Department. Although the city has refused to say who the PI on the case is – or even what issues in the two agencies are being investigated – the PI on the case has no ties to the Wausau city government. The case, however, may stem from the problems surrounding Mike Morrissey, who was the director of both the Wausau Community Development Authority and the Wausau Community Development Department. He was placed on paid leave following a discrimination complaint by a former employee.
