New Book Reveals Secrets of Corporate Intelligence and Investigations |
NEW YORK, NY – A new book, “Broker, Trader, Lawyer, Spy,” by Eamon Javers, examines the world of business investigations and corporate espionage. Javers notes that the industry is diverse, including everything from a venture capitalist using CIA-worthy satellite images to PIs diving into dumpsters to dig up dirt about the competition to simple commodity intelligence investigations. |

Coach Pursues Counterfeiters |
DALLAS, TX – Coach, Inc. has been cracking down on counterfeiters, hiring PIs to look for fake Coach products in stores. As a result of the investigations, Coach is now suing The Sam Moon Trading Co. for trademark infringement. The Sam Moon Trading Co. claims to offer "designer-inspired" purses, but Coach claims the products are rip-offs of their own higher-end handbags. |

Spymom Loses her Battle with Cancer |
BOISE, ID – PI Val Agosta passed away from breast cancer recently, but her family is working to ensure that her memory will remain cherished. The family made sure that Agosta’s book, “Spymom: The True Story Of A Soccer Mom Turned Private Eye,” was published by Guideposts Books posthumously. The book details Agosta’s work as a PI and her battle with cancer, with some names changed to protect clients. |
