PI Gives Authorities Tip in Miliani’s Disappearance |
BRYSON CITY, NC - PInow.com advertiser Steve Siske said he noticed similarities between Rossana Miliani’s disappearance, and that of slain Georgia hiker Meredith Emerson. Miliani was last seen on December 7, 2005, in Bryson City. The 26-year-old had told her family she was going hiking. Investigators are looking into whether Georgia drifter Gary Michael Hilton may have been involved in her disappearance two years ago. Siske said he briefed officials with the Swain County Sheriff’s Office and the Bryson City Police Department on Miliani’s case. |

PI Chases Guys Who Promise the Moon |
TAMPA, FL - Private investigator Frank Coto was quoted in an article about Googling your date before accepting. Despite modern innovations like Google, he is still contacted by people interested in finding out about their date’s history. The Tampa native has been a private investigator since 1971. He started by chasing “moonshiners.” Now he chases guys who promise the moon. |

PI Offers To Find Missing Electrical Wire for Free |
DELPHI, IN – The Delphi Chamber of Commerce lost a valuable item after last year's Carroll County Old Settler's celebration. They need to find the electrical wire because it provides one of the most needed services to vendors and exhibitors at the event. One local private investigator, a Carroll County native, has offered to find the missing item free of charge. PI Dale Seward said the black, high gauge, extremely heavy electric wire was last seen rolled on a wooden spindle in front of Bill's Rock Shop, located on the square across from the courthouse. |

Miss Classic PI Novels? |
BOSTON, MA – The newest PI novel is by Ray Banks. Banks has an audacious and volatile second novel out, Saturday's Child, set in north England. This is the first in a series that will follow Cal Innes, a private investigator whose past links him to a local gangster. When Cal agrees to track down some stolen casino money, he becomes an unwitting target. Cal’s young and has had his early adult years taken away from him in prison. He's damaged goods, and that's more interesting than a pristine character. Unlike other heroes, Cal always faces consequences. |
