New York Yankee Hires PIs |
NEW YORK CITY, NY - Roger Clemens, a pitcher who last pitched for the New York Yankees, was accused of taking steroids in December 2007. His attorney has hired private investigators to investigate the claims made by Brian McNamee, the trainer who told federal agents and former Senator George J. Mitchell about Clemens’ alleged drug use. However, PIs have McNamee on tape contradicting what he said about Clemens. |

Husband and Wife PIs |
SAN ANTONIO, TX - PIs Scott and Valerie Fulmer have opened a PI firm in San Antonio called Fulmer Investigations. Their firm is one of the rare PI firms in Texas to have both a husband and wife on the payroll. With more than a decade of experience at other PI firms, the couple decided to open their own business. |

Judge's Ruling Not in Favor of Hollywood PI |
LOS ANGELES, CA - Infamous Hollywood PI Anthony Pellicano, accused of illegally wiretapping celebrities in order to get information for his clients, faced new problems after a judge refused to suppress evidence in his case. Pellicano’s attorneys claimed the evidence against the PI had been mishandled or obtained through government misconduct. Judge Dale S. Fischer of Federal District Court disagreed and issued six separate rulings against Pellicano. |

The NRA Takes on Mayor with PIs |
NEW ORLEANS, LA - The National Rifle Association has launched a federal lawsuit against Police Superintendent Warren Riley and Mayor Ray Nagin of New Orleans over the seizure of weapons following Hurricane Katrina in 2005. The only problem is that the NRA is unable to find many of the gun owners. They have now hired PIs to help them find hundreds of gun owners who had their firearms seized by city police after Hurricane Katrina. |

Atomic Kitten Star Kerry Katona Hires PIs |
UNITED KINGDOM - Kerry Katona, best known for her role as an Atomic Kitten and her part in I’m a Celebrity, has hired private investigators after a man claimed to be her father. Katona hopes the investigators will be able to find her real father. Bus driver John Dowd claims that he is her father, but Katona is seeking a DNA test to ensure that she does not fall prey to a hoax. |
