PI Business Recognized by El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce

EL PASO, TX – The El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce recently held its yearly Future 15 Celebration to recognize local businesses for innovation, success and passion. Among the 15 businesses honored was Sun City Security Service Inc., a PI firm offering investigative, patrol, security and alarm response services. It was first established in 1980 and now produces over $1 million in revenue a year. Another company honored was Trust Screening, a company offering background checks and other forms of employee screening.

CALI 2009 Annual Conference

The California Association of Licensed Investigators is holding its Annual Conference June 11–13, 2009 at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport, Burlingame, CA.

The annual conference will also include the annual business meeting and election of officers, (Friday, June 12, 2009) the incoming President’s dinner (Friday night), raffle prizes, Giants/A’s Game on Saturday night (extra cost), Golf Tournament at Harding Park (Thursday morning, June 11, 2009) (extra cost) and a welcoming reception (June 11, 2009). The CALI board of directors will hold its meeting on June 11, 209 and all members are welcome to attend.

Keynote speakers include Jim Cooney, an attorney involved in breaking open the Duke Lacrosse case, Carol Moore, a certified legal investigator, involved with the famous Dupont case of West Virginia and Eric O’Neill, the FBI agent assigned to help trap Robert Hanssen. a spy working for the Russians. Mr. O’Neill was played in the hit movie “Breach” by Ryan Phillippe.

KPIA Training Seminar

The Kentucky Professional Investigators Association will be conducting a seminar entitled Blue Print for Business Success. The dates are May 27-29, 2009 and will be held at the Elizabethtown, Kentucky Police Headquarters located at 300 South Mulberry Street.

Designed to help you and your business become more professional, efficient, and profitable, this 2-day training seminar will provide 16 continuing education (CE) hours.

A hospitality event and business meeting will be held at the motel on the evening of the 27th. Everyone is encouraged to attend.
