Kerry Katona has said she has hired private investigators to help her find out the identity of her father.
Speaking to the Sun, the former Atomic Kitten said a bus driver, John Dowd, had approached her claiming to be her parent. Dowd claims to have been involved with Katona’s mother, Sue over twenty years ago.
The 27-year-old told the paper: “He looks nothing like me. He looks like another one of them storytellers. I’ve hired a private investigator to find my real dad so I guess I’ll find out soon.”
The I’m A Celebrity star added that she would be willing to take a DNA test to ensure that she was not the victim of a hoax.
Katona’s husband told the Sun that she was eager to find out whether she was pregnant with a boy or a girl.
The star, who has three girls, was supposed to learn about the baby’s sex a week ago but doctors informed her that the baby was in a position where it was impossible to determine it’s gender.
