An internet services provider in Worcestershire has launched a private investigations company on the internet thanks to a new website.
Netsecrets from Stockwood, near Inkberrow, has been working undercover for Heligan Investigations to launch a website promoting its services live on-line.
The site details the services provided by the company and allows people to register online to avoid an initial face to face meeting, which can be off-putting for people who may be tracking down a lost family member or trying to discover whether their partner is being unfaithful.
The site also protects the anonymity of the company’s clients, cases and the identity of its private investigators. Richard Burt, technical director at Netsecrets, said: “We very much enjoyed working with Heligan and making it easier for their clients to communicate with them via the internet.”
Chris Page, managing director of Heligan Investigations, said Netsecrets understood their needs and are pleased with the site.
The website is at http://www.heliganinvestigations.co.uk/.

I think this is an irresponsible business plan-no better than the information brokers who disseminate private information indiscriminately to anyone with a credit card-especially today with terrorism and stalking. If we don’t monitor our prospects to make sure their requests are legitimate, we are putting others lives at stake and being irresponsible.

How do you protect against fraud and child predators with this anonymous service? Many have tried this appproach and ended up in serious hot water after providing addresses to children so they could be found by their father and taken in violation of court custody orders. This seems too risky if you ask me.
