Only a small percentage of the population is ever touched by the unexplained disappearance of a loved one.
That’s not the case for Michele Long of Coushatta, who has suffered not once but twice.
For seven worrisome months in 2001, the Long family agonized over the whereabouts of Wendi Long, 21, of Martin. Wendi Long was Michele Long’s niece “” the daughter of brother-in-law Luke Long and wife Karol. Wendi Long left a party in Shreveport on April 13, 2001, and never made it home.
