The First Litigation Support Electronic Discovery Software Program with Embedded Files Processing Capability for Law Firms, In-House Counsel, Service Bureaus and CPA Practices
Winter Haven, FL (PRWEB) June 9, 2006 — Litigation support document management software creator DocuLex announces the anticipated update of Discovery Cracker, the company’s flagship electronic discovery software program, the first to offer embedded files processing capability. “Designed specifically for litigation support use by law firms, corporate counsel, service bureaus and CPA firms, the program creates litigation databases with associated images and full-text and metadata extraction from email systems and stored electronic files in over 500 formats,” states Tim Nissen, Marketing Director of DocuLex. “Product hallmarks include ease-of-use, scalability, usage flexibility, custom file report creation ability and distribution processing capability.”
Discovery Cracker’s embedded files processing feature provides extraction of electronic file formats from within another files. The benefit is thorough electronic capture of content from container files of differing native formats (IE. a Microsoft Word document containing an Excel spreadsheet), separating the embedded file from the previous multi-format location.
The program provides full-text and metadata extraction from files in over 500 formats, with ‘parent-child’ document relationship identification for effective organization. Expanded SQL server support for faster processing, along with Microsoft Access data extraction are included in this Microsoft 2003-supported version. The program exports data to all prominent litigation content management systems.
