Upon receiving a new assignment, all of the available information relating to the case is collected. From that point, the file is studied by our team for additional areas of information opportunities, (DMV searches, data searches, neighborhood pretext etc.) Once the assignment is underway, stationary surveillance points are determined that enable the best vantage point for observation, without compromising the investigation. Hourly video time checks, as well as mobile observations, are conducted to insure that all areas of the surveillance field are noted. Particular attention is paid to areas of interest, such as local school team emblems, sporting equipment, boats, trailers or any other item that may indicate activities of interest by the claimant. The status of the exterior area of the claimant’s residence may be a good indication as to possible outdoor activities. If the claimant enters a facility or business, the investigator will make every attempt to obtain documentation of their activities. When applicable, a pretext can be conducted to obtain additional information that will enable further investigations, to achieve optimum results for the client
SPI investigators maintains contact with the office base and project manager, providing verbal updates and requesting additional information as needed. These updates are in turn related to the client. Once the notes are received and processed, the final report, applicable video footage and photographs are then combined with any additional documentation, resulting in a quality service product.
