Homeland Surveillance Agency has been committed to excellence for over eight specializing in superior quality of Insurance Fraud and Workers Compensation claims. We are based out of Destrehan, Louisiana, but cover the entire gulf south from Louisiana to Alabama as well as Oklahoma.

Our mission is, with your help, to put a stop to fraud.

Louisiana Insurance Fraud Facts

·The 2007 Fiscal year budget for just Louisiana shows that $2,385,464.74 was spent in an attempt to prevent insurance fraud.

·The Louisiana State Police reports that fraud claims alone cost $2.3 billion a year.

·Fraud is the second most costly white collar crime in America falling just behind tax evasion.

·Insurance industry studies indicate 10 percent or more of property/casualty insurance claims are fraudulent

·Criminals who defraud property/casualty insurance companies not only steal from insurers, but they rip all of us off as well. We all pay the price for their crimes. Not only does fraud cause higher insurance rates, but it also raises our taxes and inflates prices for consumer goods.

Pricing

Currently, Homeland Surveillance Agency has two methods of pricing, which our Clients utilize:

The most common arrangement is considered "Flat Rate". This rate includes all usual and normal costs associated with conducting the surveillance in one comprehensive rate. Such costs included in the rate are travel time, mileage, and lodging, if required. This allows for easier budgeting of an actual cost of surveillance for the Claims Handler.
The second arrangement is our "hourly basis". This basis generally is used for assignments other than surveillance, where the assignment may only take a few hours.
