VIDOR, TX -- Private investigators have been examining the truck involved in the crash which claimed the lives of teens Mykala Ross and Kristen Kirkland. Kirkland’s father has launched a legal action against the driver of the truck. The truck was mangled so badly in the single-vehicle accident that private investigators were not even able to pry open the doors to the vehicle with a crowbar. Neither Ross nor Kirkland were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident and were thrown from the vehicle. They died of internal injuries.
